About Us

2) "Transpyrenea 2016"

- CCC 2009.
- UTMB 2010, 2011, 2014.
- TOUR DES L'OISANS e DES ECRINS 2011.
- TOR DES GEANTS 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015.
- TRAIL DEL TICINO 2012, 2013, 2014.
- PTL 2012, 2013, 2015.
- SPINE RACE 2015.
- GOLDSTEIG ULTRA RACE 2015.
- RONDA DES CILMS.
- TRANSPYRENEA 2016.
- LEGENDS SLAM 2017.
- EUFORIA 2018.
- SWISS PEAKS 2018.

English version:
Hello everyone, my name is Roberto and I was born 11/1/1964.
I am married to Monica and I have two children, Giacomo and Beatrice.

I live in the province of Bergamo in the "Island" but I am originally from Milan and precisely from Nova Milanese.
My sport started with basketball in the oratory, then I went to the mountainbike and then to the racing one and to the Freeclimbing only on the crag, that is, short things and with little approach.
One day (about in 1988) while we were at a friend's house, looking out of the window I see a mountain with beautiful colors and wonder what mountain it is, "it's Monte Rosa" they answer me, and then I "next weekend are we going there? ", and so my passion for the mountain was born.
I gave up everything else and I dedicated myself to her and so now I am a ski mountaineering instructor and Backcountry (snowboard mountaineering), I am part of the Orobica school of San Pellegrino.

I am a patient of the "thin air" that is the environment above 4000 meters.
I climbed 76 (of the 82) official 4000 meter peaks of the ALPS.

As a work, unfortunately I do not deal with the mountains but with industrial automation, which I like anyway.

I started running in September 2007, when some of my friends told me "in December we are going to do the Milan marathon" and so on with the preparation.
The best performance in the marathon? Reggio Emilia 3h 25m.
Then my brother-in-law told me about the race around Mont Blanc and from that moment a woodworm started to turn around in my head until 09/01/2008 at 9:00 pm when I joined the CCC.

I wrote 2 books that talk about the things I like:
1) "Using GPS in the mountains"
2) "Transpyrenea 2016"

Here are the most important ultra that I participated in:
- CCC 2009.
- UTMB 2010, 2011, 2014.
- TOUR DES L'OISANS and DES ECRINS 2011.
- TOR DES GEANTS 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015.
- TRAIL OF TICINO 2012, 2013, 2014.
- PTL 2012, 2013, 2015.
- SPINE RACE 2015.
- GOLDSTEIG ULTRA RACE 2015.
- RONDA DES CILMS.
- TRANSPYRENEA 2016.
- LEGENDS SLAM 2017.
- EUFORIA 2018.
- SWISS PEAKS 2018.

My wife tells me that I'm sick; I think he's right !!!

I do not have much method and I'm quite instinctive and that's why I can not follow tables, ... "I run, I just run ...", I do not wonder how many kilometers are or how long it takes, I go, and that's why my friends in the race call me Forrest.
